I have been on vacation for the past

few days and have had many splendid

moments that have led me astray.

Today I spied a Japanese beauty in

full bridal kimono form, modeling her

bright ensemble wearing a pretty

smile with confidence and adorn….

An Optical Ilusion

Can you see my friend and I standing in

the glass ball looking out at you?

Can you believe that this is actually the

neck of a large deer that has been killed

and used as a piece of artwork with

hundreds and hundreds of glass balls

covering its entire body including its

antellers?

I felt very sad when I saw this and thought

we as human beings are really strange if

we have to kill an animal just to make art

and have thousands of other humans to

come and marvel at how the artist was so

clever to do such an amazing piece of work.

I felt this was certainly an optical illusion

on the part of the artist and the people who

thought it was wonderful!

Check this aboriginal girl`s t-shirt out!

It says Nagoya in Kanji!

I felt so excited when I saw this picture

in a well portrayed book about the aboriginies

of Australia because I spent a lot of time

with them when I was living in the desert.

Just because I live in Nagoya and my

nationality is Australian, I marvelled

at the global ties between my special

Nagoya and Australia!

I had such a fine train ride with these wonderful women of high

spirits, smiling hearts and shared precious moments that I will

forever remember with a warm glow that will naturally flow into

the unknown…

I have known these Japanese women for a long time now and they

have always been there throughout my personal journey with

work, play and just reminiscing about the special connections

that we have made.

Thank you to all of you for making me feel that Japan is my home

and for always being there throughout all the seasons that I`ve

blossomed and here remain!

Japanese garden and when I put my ear

to the mouth of the bamboo pole I could

hear such a hypnotic echo that was so

tantalising to my soul!

When water drops into a bottle located

underground you can hear an ongoing

echo of the KOTO…… (Japanese harp).

僕は、オーストラリア人の友人がいます。
友人と英語で会話がしたくて、Heart to Heart に来ました。

クラリッサもオーストラリア人なので、とてもフレンドリーな感じで
英語を勉強しています。

勉強というよりも、友人のところに遊びにきている感じです。

Heart to Heartで英語を覚えて、いろんな国の人と話すぞ〜!!

living in Australia and this was one of

my favourite displays.

I`m almost positive that the artist is

Japanese. Anyway I love the statement

私は初めて仕事で海外にいったとき、
英語がまったくしゃべれないことですごく困りました。

通訳の方が同行していたので、仕事の話はできましたが、やはり自分でも相手の方と直接コミュニケーションを取りたいと思いました。そのとき、帰国したら絶対に英語習うぞって決めました。
帰国後、ネットでいろんな英会話教室を探したんですが、どれも似たり寄ったり。値段で決めるぐらいしか判断基準がありませんでした。

私の仕事はプライベートフィットネスで、お客様と一対一でトレーニングを指導させていただいてます。
一対一なので、金額は高めですが、お客様一人一人のレベルに合わせた指導法ができるため、その費用対効果は絶大だと確信しておりました。
ですから、英会話教室もマンツーマンがいいなと思って、ネットで検索したところ、このHeart to Heart Englishを見つけました。家から近かったこともあり、迷わず申し込みの連絡をメールでしました。

するとすぐにクラリッサ先生のほうから電話連絡をいただき、
そのときの明るくて上手な日本語(笑)ですぐに会ってみたいと思い、即入会することになりました。

入会して思いましたが、中学レベルの英語もできない私を丁寧に日本語と英語を交ぜながら教えていただき、とてもわかりやすく指導していただけました。

何より楽しい！これが一番ではないかと思います。

良き指導者に教えていただけると勉強って楽しいですからね。
英語は何が何でも覚えなきゃって構えていた私を楽しくできる環境にしていただけたことはとても嬉しかったです。
どんなことでも必ずホワイトボードに書いて教えてくれる方法もすごく良いと思います。

最後に迷われている方に…
マンツーマンなので、グループで行うレッスンよりは割高に感じるかもしれませんが、
グループで何年も通って覚えるより、マンツーマンのほうが何倍も覚えるのが早いので時間短縮など考えたら私はとても割安に思います。一度試されるとその良さがわかると思いますよ。

クラリッサ先生に出会えたこと本当に感謝です。
これからも宜しくお願いします。

私は2009年5月からプライベートレッスンを受講しています。
私が「Heart to Hear English Club」を選んだ理由は、決められたテキストにと
らわれることなくその日の授業内容を自分で決められることでした。
また私は受講する前に先生のClarissaと電話で話しましたが、電話からでも伝わっ
てくる彼女の優しさ、そして地下鉄の駅近くにあり職場から通いやすかったとい
う環境も決め手になりました。
始めようと思っても、始めるまでに時間がかかってしまう英会話。
だったら自分の生活の中にその行動を組み込んでしまおう！と思って始めたら、
意外にも楽しく、今では英会話が終わって帰宅すると「元気になって帰ってきた
ね」と家族も喜んでいます。

私は輸入関係の仕事に就いていて、また現地法人もあるので英語でのやり取りは
仕事上不可欠です。しかし大学を卒業してからは特に英語に触れることもなく、
前職では金融関係だったこともあり、転職して2年ぐらいは他のスタッフに助け
てもらっていました。
しかし年数を経るごとにそうも言ってられなくなり、もうすぐ5歳になる息子も
少し手がかからなくなってきたので思い切って英会話を始めることにしました。
レッスンではその日に仕事上で実際に書いたメールを添削してもらったり、電話
の内容の受け答えを再現したりする日もあります。
また別の日には、休日で家族で出かけたときのことを説明することもあります。
今まで英語を読んだり書いたりすることはあっても、英会話は非常に苦手でした
が、Clarissaの明るさでそのコンプレックスも少しずつなくなってきました。
今後は仕事でのよりよい英語環境を目指すとともに、息子とも一緒にレッスンを
楽しみたいとも思っています。

Jealousy is a form of insecurity. It is something that can

eat away at your soul and destroy everything around you

that is whole!

Don’t fall into that trap that will only give you heart attacks!

Be sure to be grateful for what you have and avoid looking

at what you don’t have.

Just remember that each and every one of us has something

special to offer that is unique and can make not only yourself

but others feel satiable and complete.

The group “The Black Eyed Peas” did this as a surprise for an

extraordinary television talk show host, “Oprah Winfrey” who

has dedicated over 24 years of her life to helping the people

of America and the world with her acts of limitless love, kindness,

charities to the needy and words of wisdom.

This was so cool to see the people of Chicago get together in perfect

synchronicity to show their appreciation to Oprah!

Personally, I thought this was not only absolutely incredible artwork but an exceptionally wonderful way for integration with each other in the community; establishing stronger connections in spirit and enhancing cooperation amongst the local people and farmers.

May we all strive to spread the seeds of brotherhood throughout the world!

Stunning crop art has sprung up across rice fields in Japan , but this is no alien creation. The designs have been cleverly planted in Inakadate.

Farmers creating the huge displays use no ink or dye.

Instead, different color rice plants have been precisely and strategically arranged and grown in the paddy fields.

As summer progresses and the plants shoot up, the detailed artwork

begins to emerge.

Napoleon on horseback can be seen from the skies.

This was created by precision planting and months of planning by villagers and farmers located in Inakadate , Japan .

Fictional warrior Naoe Kanetsugu and his wife, Osen, whose lives are featured on the television series Tenchijin, appear in fields in the town of Yonezawa in the Yamagata prefecture of Japan .

from all directions, but this was the ultimate

gift of perfection!

There must have been over 60 chocolates

perfectly wrapped, awaiting our salvinating
